"Scott,
As a long time follower and radio broadcaster of OUA and
CIS basketball, it was a thrill for me to listen to speakers
such as Peter Campbell, Bob Bain and Eddie Pomykala(even
though as a MAC grad Eddie and his Gaitors did break my
heart in 1998). It truly was a couple of days of sitting
" at the learning tree" of some of these legendary coach's.
You did a great job. How many coaching clinics feature
the coach of the CIS Champions and a member of the coaching
staff of the NCAA Champions?"
Thanks
again, Steve Clark Ajax

"Scott
Just wanted to drop you a line to say hi and to thank
you so much for the work you put into the clinic. I really
enjoyed what I heard and was really impressed by the team
of youth and coaches you put together. We are lucky to
have you in Brockville. "

"Scott,
Thank you for organizing this great clinic. I learned
some great things and was reminded of stuff I forgot.
It also helped me refocus my thoughts on coaching. I can't
wait for next September."

"Hi
Scott, The clinic was very well run. Thank you for doing
such a thorough job and taking care of details. I was
impressed with the coach's passion and humility;they were
an excellent group. It was great meeting Mike Hopkins
from Syracuse."

"I
just wanted to write and let you know how much I appreciate
all the efforts you have put into events like the the
coaches clinic this past weekend. Having top notch speakers
and players on court to demonstrate the coaches work was
very effective. It was great to see how the coaches could
get a group of talented teens to work with them. The door
prizes were a great touch, but what I enjoyed most was
the networking you do with people at an event like this.
Everyone was very open to talking and sharing information.
Its events like this that help those involved with all
levels of this sport. You can see the passion you have
for the sport and the willingness to help others.....
sooooooooooooo a big THANK YOU. "
Cheers!

"Dear
Scott:
Your recent Jump-Shots clinic for the Kingston area OBA
atom boys and girls teams was a huge success. Everyone involved
- players, coaches and staff - had nothing but praise for
the program.
By
focusing on the basics elements of basketball - shooting,
passing, dribbling and foot work - the individual skill
level of each and every player has greatly improved. Learning
and reviewing the basics has been a concern for our coaches
but, with the demands of the basketball season, very difficult
to schedule the needed time and resources. The Jump-Shoot
clinic gave our players the opportunity they needed to focus
and improve on their fundamentals.
I want to commend you on your practical knowledge and style
of instruction. I have had the opportunity to visit many
camps across Southern Ontario and your program was one of
the best I have seen. I wish you all the best and would
recommend the Jump Shots Academy to any club interested
in reinforcing the basics of basketball.
We look forwarded to your return visit."

"Scott
is a passionate teacher of the game. His teams were always
well prepared, and played a tough, aggressive brand of basketball".

"Scott's
teams were always well disciplined and prepared to play.
This I think, was a reflection of the qualities Scott exibited,
and those he sought in his athletes. His teams executed
their offense as well as any I have seen recently, and Scott
got as much if not more out of the talent he had available,
than most coaches.
His teams played with an intensity that was reflected in
their coach. Scott demanded that individuals put forth that
effort everytime they stepped on the court".

a great teacher of the game. I really value the years I
played for him".

is a great motivator who is one of the hardest working coaches
in Canada. He always gets the most out of his players"

"Playing
against a Scott Meeson coached team means that you are playing
against fundamentally sound players that are prepared every
single time. Scott's teams can execute and that is a direct
result of Scott's ability to teach the game!"
Eddie Pomykala
Men's Basketball Coach Bishop's University, Lennoxville

"Scott's
full day clinic was outstanding! His attention to detail
in the teaching of individual skills and his progressive
building towards team concepts was great to watch. It was
really exciting to see the kids putting all his teaching
into practice during the scrimmage at the end of the day.
This was a great investment for our program, and we plan
on having him back in the fall."
